Building Hope Through Action

Our work is inspired by the daily realities of vulnerable people in Zambia. We believe that with genuine support, every person can become productive and contribute to our nation's development. Our goal is to give them the hope and the tools they need to succeed.

Through contributions and funding, we take direct action. We pay school fees for orphans and street children, provide job training for persons with disabilities, support the elderly with medical care, and help widows and traumatized individuals rebuild their lives.

Our Programs & Impact

Education for All

We provide school fees and financial support for orphans, street kids, and children from low-income families to ensure they can access education and build a future.

Wellness & Counseling

We offer professional psychological counseling and treatment for individuals, couples, and families who have experienced trauma, helping them heal and move forward.

Sustainable Livelihoods

To improve food security and income, we provide practical training in sustainable farming, aquaculture, and poultry management for individuals and communities.

Skills Training

We empower youth and adults with marketable life skills, offering vocational training in fields like tailoring and computer literacy to foster employment and entrepreneurship.

Humanitarian Support

We provide essential aid like food and clothing to support vulnerable groups, including single mothers, widows, and families facing financial hardship.

Empowerment for single mothers in Kanyama

A New Dawn for Kanyama's Mothers

"We were struggling to feed our children. Now, with our own cooperative, we are building a future for them."

In the heart of Kanyama compound, many single mothers and widows faced immense hardship. The Trio Foundation stepped in, organizing them into a cooperative, providing training in tailoring and business management, and supplying initial startup materials. Today, their tailoring shop is thriving, providing stable incomes and restoring hope for their families.

Honoring Our Elders in Kabwata

Many senior citizens in Kabwata were living in isolation, struggling with loneliness and malnutrition. Our "Golden Years" program now provides daily home visits with nutritious meals, basic health check-ups, and most importantly, companionship. We ensure our community's elders feel seen, cared for, and cherished, restoring their health and dignity.

Federic, an 18-year-old in Kabwata, faces significant challenges as he cannot walk and has limited speech, requiring constant assistance with daily tasks, including feeding. The foundation recognized Federic's needs and provides ongoing support to improve his quality of life. This includes ensuring he receives regular nutritious meals and the necessary care, offering a sense of stability and dignity to his everyday existence.

Providing a safe home for orphans in Matero

A Future for Matero's Children

"Before, we didn't know where our next meal would come from. Now, we have a home, we go to school, and we can dream again."

Countless orphans in Matero compound were left vulnerable, without access to education or consistent meals. The Foundation established a community-based orphan care center, providing a safe home, nutritious food, and psychosocial support. All the children are now enrolled in local schools with their fees, uniforms, and supplies fully covered, giving them a chance to break the cycle of poverty and build a bright future.
